Hearst Castle® Announces Fall 2008 Photography and Behind-the-Scenes Tours

San Simeon , CA – Continuing the celebration of the 50 th Anniversary of California State Parks operation of Hearst Castle®, a new “Photography Tour” will be offered for the public’s enjoyment on September 14, 2008 and October 19, 2008. This will be followed by a “Behind-the-Scenes Tour” on November 16, 2008. If as expected, demand for the new tours remains high, they will commence again in the Spring of 2009.

The Photography Tour is limited to twelve visitors and will coincide with the sunset, and will include ten photo stops. Visitors on the Photography Tour are encouraged to enjoy their photographs for their personal use, but commercial use is not permitted.

The Behind-the-Scenes Tour will provide visitors an opportunity to experience portions of the Castle that are not seen on the other tour offerings and will provide a unique look at the “Enchanted Hill”.

Tour prices for both of these tours are $75 for adults and youth ages 6 through 17.
